The total arrivals from the round Europe contest now are 16, leaving 35 to come. Nine have abandoned the flight. Unless Butler’s disqualification is revoked, Captain Broad will be the only •competitor to gain full marks for speed and reliability. Otherwise Butler is level with 270 points. Then come Boss 264, Morzik and Carberry 263, Polts (Germany) 262 and Thorn 250. The technical tests may decrease Broad’s lead. Carberry’s machine has points which are likely lo confer it a prominent position.
