LAMBETH CONFERENCE
CANDIDATES FOR -HOLY ORDERS (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright). Received .12.39 p.m. to-day. LONDON, July 28. The Lambeth conference resumed its full sessions with a view to receiving the reports of six committees during the next fortnight. The; first dealt with the ministry, the supply and training of candidates for holy orders, and the voluntary clergy, in which connection a number of resolutions was adopted with amendments, after a. discussion in which the Archbishop of New Zealand participated. Resolutions dealing with deaconesses were later discussed.
