Market steady; retail prices unchanged). DELIVERIES AND STOCKS. Deliveries of New Zealand butter for the, week weie 1176 tons as compared with 720 tons a year ago- The quantity in store was 10,445 tons, as .against 8250 tons a year ago. Deliveries of New Zealand cheese for the week were 24,581 crates as compared with' 19,740 crates a year ago. The quantity in' store was 124,665 crates, as against 107,970 crates a year ago.

The position of recently-arrived New Zealand- shipments is as follo>ws: Coptic, finished discharging butter July 18; Port Huon, finished discharging cheese July 22; Port Aid'diaido, started discharging cheese- July 21, finished July 22; {started discharging hutte-r July 24.

Deliveries of Canadian Cheese for the week were 6435 boxes, as against 4122 boxes a year ago. The quantity in store was 110,623 boxes n.s against 212,739 boxes a year ago.

Cabled actvi.ce received by Amalgamated Dairies states that the firm’s butter price is unchanged at 140 s. Other finest was- generally quoted at 138 s. The. market was-quiet hut firm at the advance. Danish closed at 152 s f.o.h'. Retail prices were unchanged. White cheese was quoted at 79s and coloured at 835,. The market was steady hut quiet. Canadian sellers, after asking up to 84s were now easier at 81s c.i.f. LONDON WOOL SALES. Tfhe. Farmers’ Co-op. Organisation Society of New Zealand Ltd. has received the following cabled advice from its London representatives: The wool sales closed yesterday. Compared with the opening rates, greasies and slipes were at slightly lower prices; otherwise the rates were unchanged.
