The Australian Workers’ Union, which has taken over a week to consider its attitude towards the shearers’ award, which reduces wages, has not yet reached a decision. Meanwhile, some shearers are on strike, but their places are being filled by graziers’ sons, and the work is proceeding satisfactorily.
