A HAWKER CONVICTED
ASSAULT ON HOUSEWIFE. (By Telegraph—Press Association). AA' FILLING TON, June 20. Alan Fabian Duerr was convicted by Air Page. S.M.. and fined £lO to-day on a. cl large of assaulting Ivy Irene Campbell, a, married woman, whose evidence* was that accused', uninvited, -entered her house after a sliort conversation at. the door and after displaying wares for sale attempted to kiss lier. Default was. fixed at a month’s imprisonment. Duerr was also convicted and ordered to pay costs on a charge of carrying on business a.s an unlicensed hawker.
