BANK RE-DISCOUNT RATE
REDUCTION IN NEW YORK. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright). Received 12.15 p.m. to-day. NEW YORK, June 19. The New York Federal Reserve Bank has reduced its re-discount rate from 3 to 2?. per cent. This is the first time in the history of the Federal reserve system that one of its hanks has had its rate below 3 per cent.
