SOUTH TARANAKI WINTER SHOW, HAWERA
FANCY WORK DIVISION. This is a great section of the show, in which there is always a great deal of interest .shown by all sections of the community. This year 30 classes have been provided for and special prizes are included. We are having a seven days’ show as in 1929, and the work in this division of the show will he exhibited for the whole of that time, 1 from Wednesday, June 25, to July 2, inclusive. In this division classes are provided for crochet, knitting, stencil and raffia work, , home-made toys, artificial flowers, plain .sewing, embroidery, etc., and much .scone is offered for the many branches of fine needlework. All details are given on pages 15 and 17 of the schedule. There is also a children’s section for which Messrs Arthurs Ltd. offer a points prize of 10s 6d. Every encouragement should he given to the young people in this class of work, and the section includes four classes which have been specially set aside for them. Entries for this division close on June 7. Anyone desiring a .schedule can obtain same on application to the manager. Box 79, Hawera.
