DAMAGES FROM COUNCIL
COLLISION WITH BUS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.} AUCKLAND, Alay 21. Damage amounting to £B6O in compensation for injuries susoa-ngd as the result of a motor accident at Feint Chevalier on July 10, 1928, were awarded by a jury in the Supreme Court today ho Robert James- Paul, labourer, of JiitTtv Lynn, against the Auckland City Council. Plaintiff alleged careless and negligent driving on the part of a motorman of a municipal bus. The sum of £l5O was claimed for medical expenses, £2lO for loss of wages, and £SOO general damages. Plaintiff sustained injuries as the result of a collision between his motor cycle andl a municipal bus.
