SPECIAL STOCK TRAIN. (From Our Own Correspondent.) The N-orman by railway station presented a busy scene on Friday morning, reminiscent of the early days, when large numbers of stock were railed from here, the occasion being the departure of a special train chartered by Mr. P. Bremer, of Okinawa, to carry his stock to his new home at Ohaupo, in the Waikato district. The train, which left at 10.45 a.m., consisted of 23 trucks, and these contained 78L sheep, 66 head of cattle and six horses, comprising a very valuable consignment, many being pedigree stock, of which Mr-, Bremer lias been a isuccessliil breeder for many years. The work entailed in trucking tlu. stock was carried out expeditiously, the facilities provided at the station being equal to those of bigger centres.
