UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS
SEVERAL AWARDS MADE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, May 15. The special committee cf the New Zealand University Senate to consider the reports of examiners and to award scholarships (post graduate and senior) and free passages, lias made the following awards : 1851 Exhibition Scholarship.—E. F. Thompson (Canterbury). Post Graduate Scholarship in science.—J. W. Harding (Victoria). Science Scholarship.—G. J. Williams (Otago). Free passages were awarded to Joan Stevens (Otago), A. H. McDonald (Auckland), J. W. Harding (Victoria), E. F. Thompson (Canterbury), and J. Williams (Auckland).
