A. de la Pen-lie presiding. t The Minister - speaking of amendments desirable in the Aet,°par- , ti nlarly the amendment of compensation and the betterment provision, said I that the regional planning provision in I the 1921) Amendment Act were complete in themselves and stood by themselves without reference to any "further amendments that might he made to the principal Act. Civic surveys also could not be affected by any further amendments. It was desirable that any authorities that had not already completed these should do so without further delay. He stressed the necessity of regional planning.
