SHIELD MATCH. PARK DEFEAT OPUNAKE. The members of the Park Club rinks who journeyed to Opunake on Wednesday last speak very highly" of the hospitality accorded them by the seaside club. The occasion was the second round match in the shield competition, and Park proved the victors by a margin of nine points.

Johnson, Des Forges, Hammond, Burton 19. Brennan, Thurston, Curtis, Quin 24 v. Wilson, Callaghan, Wilson, Morris 16. ’ Totals: Park 65, Opunake 56.
