ELTHAM CLUB COMPETITIONS. The last two races in the Boomerang Cup series were held ou Tuesday evening on Taumata Park before a large crowd of spectators, A. Bourke gaining first place in both races. A Bourke had 15 points, which he lifted to 18 with a hrst in the fivemile event, while Mehrtens gained a third in the five-mile race, placing him first and winner of the cup. The half-mile resulted: A. Bourke (50 yards) 1, M. Williams 2, M. Vickers (45yds) 3. Time, lmin. 7 3-ssec. Won by half-a-length, with the same distance between second and third. R. Bourke was fourth.

Five-mile race.—A. Bourke (300yds) 1, M. Vickers (240yds) 2, K. Mehrtens (60yds) 3, D. Coleman 4. Time, 13min. 6sec. Other competitors were: E. Stockman (160yds), K. Stockman (240 yds), L. Gargan (60yds), Williams (130 yds). The track had been specially mowed and was in excellent order.

Following is the number of points gained by the various; riders during the road and track races: Mehrtens 20 points, A. Bourke 18, D. Coleman 9, M. Vickers 8, E. Stockman 6, K. Mehrtens 5.
