CYCLING CHAMPIONSHIPS
INQUIRY TO BE HELD. (By Telegraph—Press Association ) CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 14. An inquiry is to be held into the riding of a number of competitors in the ten-mile Australian and New Zealand cycle championship held at English Park on February 5. P. O’Shea, L. W. Hill. W. T. Weir and S. A. Jordan will be summoned before a special meeting of the North Canterbury Centre of the Cycling Union next Wednesday evening. The matter was discussed at a meeting of the centre last evening, when the chairman (Mr. W. J. V alter) said that the race was not as cleanly ridden as it might have been.
