ABOUT £4OOO MISSING CHINESE BANK’S LOSS (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) SINGAPORE,. Jan. 15. On th,. arrival of the Dutch steamer Vanderparra at Djambi from Singapore to-day it was discovered that a mail bag had been cut open and 50,000 guilders (cbout £4000) consigned to the Djambi branch of the Chinese. Bank, had been stolen.
