FIGHT LICENSE GRANTED

The British Boxing Board of Control, which six times previously refused, has now granted a license to Jeff Dickson, the American, permitting him to promote contests in London. The “Daily Express” says the board’s former attitude was petty and futile, and that all earing for the catholicity of British sport would welcome the abandonment of that attitude.
