LAST OF SEASON
The Kapuni Hall Society brought its winter season to a (-lose <Oll Tuesday evening with a iinal (.lance. There was a good attendance from the surrounding districts, including visitors from Pa tea, Alton, Mountain, Stratford, and Matapu. From Manaia there were two bus loads. Wills's ■orchestra, played dance, music which was thoroughly appreciated by all. Messrs A. j. Scott,
G. ("ox. and H. McLean were M’sC. and the supper was in charge of Alesdamos H. G. Hodge and Jl. Whalen and Misses F McLean. Putt and Murphy. During the evening the points prizes of' the euchre tournaments were- presented, the winners being Mrs. W. A. Guv (7-1 J points) and Mr. \Y. Whalen (7 DA points). The runners-up were M iss I*). McLean (73* points)'and Air. C. Whalen (72. A points). Extras were played by Misses Mabel j Guy. Grace Nicholson and Hiekland. !
