ST. ANDREWS BIBLE CLASS. “COMING OF AGE” SOCIAL. The- Waver ley branch of the S-t. .Andrew's Bible Class- celebrated the 21-st birthday of the club on Wednesday last, and for the occasion the oldest members, and youngest members mustered' in good force. Visitors from Hamiilton. Haw era,, Patea, Kakarameu. Wanganui. Fbrdell. Mat ton and Wellington took part in the celebrations. The decorations', which were in the class colours' of lemon and purple, were most effective. The guests were received by the Rev. and Mrs. Stuart, and Mr. Cat an aoh (class teacher). During the snipper toasts were proposed and items given. The items were contributed: by Airs. Graves, and Miss Beer (solos). Al'iss Sutherland (musical J monologue). Air. James Currie (recita- | tions). and, Alt. Eric Taylor. Hamilton • (solo). Alis.s Alatthewsou was aceomI pa n is te. , Airis. Alclvor. the founder of the class 21 years ago. said she was pleased to be present- on such an occasion and to see so many friends. She impressed on the members of the. class the necessity for steadfastness in alii their work in connection with their class.
