RUSSIAN PRISONERS.
ALLEGATIONS OF ILL-TREAT-MENT AGAINST CHINESE. (Australian Press Association—United Service.) Received 10.30 a.in. to-dav MOSCOW, Sept. 4. The Tass Agency alleges that trains of prisoners are arriving daily at Harbin from stations on the Chinese Eastern Railway. The doors are closed throughout the trip, despite the prisoners’ appeals, and they are given very little water. Thousands of children, in desperate plight, were forced to accompany their parents or remain without food and shelter. Thousands of workers’ homes along the route have been pillaged by Chinese, who are evidently attempting the total annihilation of the Soviet oolonv.
