GOLD CUP TROPHY.
HAWERA JUBILEE MEETING
MR. ,T. R. CORRIGAN'S DONATION. During his address to members of the Hawera Trotting Club at the annual general meeting last evening the president (Mr B. McCarthy) gave a reminder that the next trotting gathering of the club would be the twenty-fifth in its history. He intimated that consideration would be given to special arrangements for the celebration of tlig silver jubilee. During subsequent discussion concerning features suitable to the occasion, an offer to donate a gold cup valued alt .10 guineas was made by Mr .T. R. Corrigan, a prominent member of the club, who is well known throughout the Dominion as a breeder of trotters.
The offer was accepted bv the meet ing ami a vote of thanks to Mr Corn gau was endorser! with acclamation.
