PERSONAL ITEMS.
At the annual meeting- of the Kaponga Jersey 'Club last evening-, reference was made to the recent -deaths of Messrs G. Hollard and B. Ogle, in both of whom the club.had lost-the services of ardent supporters. On the motion of Air C. E. Alorrissey, an expression of condolence with the relatives of the deceased was recorded,Mho motion being carried in silence, all present standing.
As a. mark of appreciation to Piper Haddow, of Pa,tea, for his work at the competitions festival, he has been presented, on behalf of the committee, with a pipe: and pouch.
