A Toronto message states that 238 entrants, including two women, started to-day in the fifteen miles WTigley Marathon swim for purses totalling 25,000 dollars. At the end of the third lap, George Young (Toronto) winner of the Catalina swim in 1926 quit. Mrs. Evelyn Armstrong, of Detroit* who finished third in the women’s swim a week ago, was forced out by cramp.
