Lieut. D. F. Gray 7, of the Wialiaoev.ihe Boys’ Home, and formerly of t-lie staff of the “Hawera Star,” is now viisting Haweiia on furlcwafk. Rev, F. A. Crawshaw, Dominion Secretary for the world-wide Mission to Lepers is the guest of Mrs. Dowling, 34 Argyle Street, during his stay in Hawera. Captain McGregor, of Hamilton Airways, LtcL. flying a Gypsy Moth ’.plane, arrived in Hawera yesterday afternoon. Ho will be staying here- for several days. Th? high regard in which Mr \Y. A. Spragg, of Hawera, is held by tiro members of the N.Z. Motor Cycle Union was shown -at the conclusion of the conference in Mart-on this week, when he was presented with a, framed photograph ©f the delegates attending the conference. He was also nominated as delegate to attend! the next annual conference, of the Australian Union.
