HAWERA MALE CHOIR.
CHAMBER CONCERT TO BE HELD. A notice of interest to musical people of the district appears in to-day’s “Star” in the announcement that the Hawera. Male Choir’s chamber concert will be held on Thursday, August 22, in the Presbyterian Church hall. The programme will include items by the combined hoys’ and senior choirs, and these will be assisted by Miss Beverley Burton, Miss Flora Davies, Mr. .1. Maloney, and Mr. B. Malone. The introduction of the chamber concert is an innovation for a Hawera society, and the executive committee feels ’assured that it will prove very popular.
