ASSIGNMENT OF LIFE INTEREST. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 16. Judgment has just been given in a, rather unusual case. One Thomias Harris, of Alartin bo rough, a. farm labourer, sued Thomais Richardson, a moneylender, to set- aside a, deed wherein the plaintiff assigned to the defendant a life income of aho-uif £4OO per an linin' on the ground that the defendant took advantage of his financial! distress and the price paid, £1750, was a, gross, under value. The judge. Sir Alexander He-rdman, held that the true- value, was much in excess of the amount named, and made an order to cancel, the deed and for an account to be taken of all) moneys paid and received.
