Negotiations between tho financial experts a.t The Hague, with a view to discovering means to satisfy the British claims are described as making slow but not unsatisfactory progress. It was in order to permit their continuance that the financial committee decided not to meet till Saturday.
It is expected that one or more suboommitees will bo created for the purpose of discussing questions already raised before the commission, among them Mr Philip Snowden’s throe points. It is generally believed that- the leading delegates will go home after the meeting on Saturday, while the work of the sub-committees progresses.
