The “Daily Express” states that the Imperial Airways scheme for a regular air service between London and the Cape is now complete, and merely awaits the result ot negotiations with the Governments of countries over which the planes will pass. The service, which is of 8600 miles, is the longest in the world, and will bo a weekly trip in each direction. It will occupy nine days and will iollow the England to India route as far as Egypt, where it will turn southward along the Nile for a considerable distanced Flying boats will be used for the Mediterranean, also on part of the J African section, making four changes 'of machines.
