CH A M PIO XSHIP FIN A LS. At Hawera on Wednesday next the finals ol' both the ladies’ and men’s hockey championships of Taranaki are lo be decided. In the men’s division the finalists are Kaponga and Otakeho. In the ladies’ division the winners of the Piluinia-Rovers match, to be played on Saturday, and Stratford Technical High School are to meet in the final. Both finals will he played at King Edward Park, the ladies’ game commencing at 1.3!) and the men’s at 2.45. R EEEREES APPOTNTED. The Taranaki Hockey Association has appointed referees 'to control the f o Rowing games : Aug. 17 —Wanganui v. Taranaki ladies, at Hawera, Mr C. McFadyen ; AAangani v.
