SERVICES RECOGNISED.
LATE MR .T. E. STEVENSON. Tribute to the work of tire late Air ,T. I". Stevenson, of Kapuni, was paid at the monthly meeting yesterday of the Wa innate West County Council, of which body he had been a, member for many years prior to his death. The chairman (Or E. Long) said that ho had been associated with .the deceased gentleman on local ’ bodies for many years and knew the worth of his work. In his passing the ratepayers had lost a very line worker and representative. Other councillors spoke, all paying tribute to the late Air Stevenson’s ability and work for the people lie represented. The council adjourned for ten minutes as a. mark of respect. The condolences of the council are to be forwarded to the bereaved family.
