Air J. W. Snowden has been appointed one of the AVaimato AVest County Council’s representatives on the South Taranaki Power Board, filling the vacancy caused by the death of the late Mr J. F. Stevenson.

Barker, of Hawera, of a silver shield, suitably inscribed, as a memento of the fine score of 96 he made last year in the annual cricket match. The presentation followed the presentation of the cricket ball, suitably mounted, with which one of the Feilding team did such destructive work, getting four wickets with four consecutive balls.
