The “Daily Telegraph’s” diplomatic correspondent says- he is able to state authoritatively that British troops will be withdrawn froim the Rhineland before t-he- end of the year, irrespective of the decision- -of The- Hague: conference. The political committee- at The Hague conference, on resuming the discussion of the question of the evacuation of the Rhineland, accepted in principle the setting up of a technical sub-committee to work out the details of the evacuation . Received 12.45 p.m. to-day. THE HAGUE, Aug. 13. The Hague Conference has virtually agreed to the evacuation of t-he Rhineland before Christmas. EVACUATION MAY START NEXT MONTH. Received 1.30 p.m. to-day. THE HAGUE, Aug. 13. It is understood that the Rt. Hon. Arthur Henderson, the French, German and Belgian delegates agreed to start at early date the evacuation of the Rhineland. September 2 was mentioned as the possible date.
