The Gentlemen have scored 31U (Carr 04, Wyatt 63). freeman took five for 103. Players in the second innings made 29 for no wickets. LANCASHIRE v. SOUTH AFRICA. Received 9.55 a.m. to-day. LONDON, July 18. Lancashire in the first innings made 284. The South Africans in the first innings made 218 (Siedile 64). Iddon took five for 34. South Africans in the second made 36 for one wicket- when stumps were drawn. ENGLISH TOUR OF NEW ZEALAND. ARRANGEMENTS COMPLETED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, July 19. For the tour of New Zealand by the M.C.C. team which is to visit Australia this year, ararngements were completed yesterday at a meeting ol the management committee of the New Zealand Cricket Council. The tour will include’ five matches iu Australia. The first will be at Perth in October, and the team is duo to arrive in Wellington on December | 10. The management committee’s pro-, posal irs to include four matches against the major associations and ten against the minor associations. and three against New Zealand. The New Zealand itinerary has yet to be confirmed by the associations concerned.
