(lioni Our Own Correspondent.) The dance organised by the Wa-imate -Maori footballers took place last evening jn the Manat a. Town Hall and was vciy suceesstui. Spieudid music was i Pf'in idea ay the fniliiape Maori orchestra. Mr HWri Ngatau and Mr Toro Ngat.ui extended a welcome to the visitors, and Mr J. A. Cosgrove also .spoke on h®h ! V' hhe. citizens of the town. Air M C ,J< resman c ’ ai ' r ’ ou t the duties of During the evening Mi’s Toro Ngatau gave «• display -of fancy dancing and Air Ngatau junior rendered several songs, both contributions l being much appreciated. Supper was provided by the ladies’ committee. Much credit is due to the energetic organiser. Mr Toro Ngatau, for the excellent manner in which ho carried! out Ins many duties. The waltzing and fox trot competitions were won by the Tnibauo com pet i tors.
