As a sequel to the Royal Oak case, and in accordance with the Rt. Hon. W. O. Bridgeinans’ promise in the House of Commons, tli e Admiralty has now issued a series of rules and regulations designed to make easier, and less hampered by red tape, the right of appeal of every officer and. map in the Royal Navy against any .alleged grievance. Provision lias ibeen made under due restrictions for any Unsatisfied complainant to carry his case from the authority to a superior authority, to a .commander-in-chief and finally to the Admiralty.
