(From Our Own Correspondent.) PREPARATIONS FOR SPORTS. The meeting of the Auroa Sports Club, held on Tuesday to pass tlie programme was well attended, and the reports .show that the sports , promise to be a great success. The lion, secretary (Air F. Aroa) and his committee are leaving no stone unturned to see that everything will be carried out efficiently. The total of prize money lias been increased, and the prizes are such as to draw large entries. It is to be regretted that the committee of the Auroa Musical Society has found it is impossible to carry mi. This was intimated in a short Speech made by the conductor.
