(From Our Own Correspondent). A very- successful dance' was hej’d in the Oeo Hall on Friday evening last, the proceeds of which are to be divided between the Hall Committee and the Tennis Club. Coburn’s orchestra, supplied the music, and the supper arrangements. wer© in the hands of Mrs Saywell, while an ice cream stal’d did good business. PERSONAL. Miss Heaf, of Auroa, was the guest of Airs. Cameron during the week-end. The Misses Boulter and Stratford, of Wellington, are the guests of Airs T. G. Alitoihell. Helen Saywell, the eldest daughter of Air and 'Airs Saywell, is at present, an inmate of a private hospital in Hawera, having undergone an operation for appendicitis. Aliiss Howes, who has been on the staff of the local 1 school, left- on Alonday for New Plymouth. Air Cummins, the headmaster of the local school, is now convalescent after his recent illness.
