MANAIA.
(Front Our Own Correspondent). DEATH OF MR J. J. DALEY. The death took place last night of one, of the- most popular citizens of Manaia, Mr John Daley, after a short illness. Mr Daley was highly respected by all and took a mast active part in .sport, playing for many years tor the Wainuvte Football Club. He was also a vail tied member of the Manaia. Brass Band. He will be very much missed! in Manaia. The funeral will leave the Catholic Church at 2 p.m. to-morrow (Saturday) and' the Manaia Municipal Band will play the “Dead! March in Saul.”
Out of respect to the late Mr Daley the euchre party which was to have been held to-night in Manaia has been postponed until Monday night.
