HOSPITAL RADIO.
TENDER ACCEPTED. At a special meeting yesterday of the sub-committee which was appointed to deal with the various tenders for the installation of radio at the Hawera Public Hospital, the tender of the Standard Cables, Ltd., of Wellington, was accepted. The work will be put in hand immediately, and the above-mentioned firm’s Hawera representative, Mr W. Davy, will superintend the installation.
