Shaw. -Clements and Butters, with leads of seven and six respectively, were expected to fight cut' the final, but neither reproduced the form of the first 'day and. Shaw, with a fine third round of 74, entered the fourth on level terms with the former leaders. Shaw did the fourth round in 73,

making liis total 302, Blair and J. R. Galloway, with final "rounds of 73 and 75 respectively, slipped into second place with 30-8. Scores are:

The third stroke handicap was -won by B. J„ Smith with 71, and the fourth by J. D? Mclntosh with 71. The Dunlop Rubber Company’s prize for .the best net aggregate in the third and fourth rounds of the championship was divided by B. J. Smjth and H. E.
