FOUND UNCONSCIOUS ON HILLS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GISBORNE, Jun. 31. Mr X. F. Reed, a well known settler amid member otf the Matakoa. County Council, who was found unconscious on the bridle tratak on one of his stations ' several wieeiks ago, and who has since/ been lying at Tefuia Hospital with flickering gleams of consciousness, died to-day. It is presumed Rged had a fall from, or was kicked by his horse, sustaining concussion.
