For the -second day of the Wellington Raaling Club’s summer meeting the weather was dull with light showers and threatening. The attendance fair and track in good order. Results: — MAUNGAROA HIGH-WEIGHT. Of 2-60 rovs. miles. 7 Imarosebud 1 5 Courageous 2 2 Quarterdeck 3 All started. Won by half a length, with two lengths between second and third. Time, 2.10.
TRIAL PLATE. Of 200 soys. 7 furlongs. 10 Atholspear 1 9 Billion 2 1 Pa quit-o .. 3 Scratched: Star Raid. Won by a -head, the same distance between second and -third. Time, 1.284. JANUARY HANDICAP. 450 sovs. 1 mile. 2 Panther 1 1 Ruanui 2 6 King Midas 3 Scratched: Dore-e, Kilbronsyth. Won by a head, with the same distance between second and third. Time, 1.39 L NURSERY HANDICAP. Of 500 sovs. 6 furlongs. 1 Gay Ballerina ± 9 Equitant 2 0 Francolin 3 All started. Won by a neck, with two lengths between second and third. Time, 1.13.
