A terrible cia’nrination to a serious misfortune came vesterelay, when Airs nl a noire Partridge was burnt to death. A fortnigint previously Partridge and his wife lost their home and all their possessions when a bush fire swept the property. Yesterday the woman was toiling clothes in a kerosene tin, when her clothes caught alight and blazed fiercely. She ran screaming round the yard until her husband extinguished the liames. She died a few hours later in hospital.
