RADIO PROPOSALS.
THE B GRADE SCHEME. MINISTER'S ATTITUDE. (By Telegraph—Special to The Star.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 24. The recent radio trade conference is responsible for the publication of a statement that When the .proposal was submitted for the establishment B grade radio stations financed from advertising revenue, the 'PostmasterGcneral and head of the Department had stated they saw no objection. The Hon. J. B. Donald, Postmaster-General, whose attention was called to this statement informed vour correspondent that it is incorrect. “I did not commit myself in any form, ” said the ‘Postmaster General. ‘ ‘ The notes of the interview show that I told the deputation it was a matter which would have to be looked into carefully and I would get into touch with them later.”
