EARLY morning alarm. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) TAIHAPE, Jan. 23. A six-roomed modern house was guted at 1 o’clock this morning. The owner, R. H. Good, a. skin buyer, was awakened by suffocating smoke and just escaped in his night attire. The i house was insured in the State Fire 'Office for £9OO.
