PATEA DISTRICT MEAT COY.
ANNUAL REPORT. A satisfactory position and a good year were disclosed in the report, for the year ended November 30, .1928, of the Patea District Meat Co., Ltd., to be presented to the annual meeting of the company on Monday, January 28. The chairman states: “The directors are pleased to report that the year’s operations, notwithstanding the keen competition for all classes of stock, resulted in a profit of £lB9 15s 3d. The company returned thanks to all those farmers who supported them with stock and trusts for a continlanee of the patronage in the future. Messrs J. R. Corrigan and G. McGregor retire from the directorate by rotation, but are eligible for re-election.” The total expenses were £2288 11s Id and the freezing manufacture sales showed a credit of £2478 3s lOd. There is an amount of £B-845 to the credit of the appropriation account.
