MESSAGE FROM THE QUEEN. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Jan. Hi The following message from the Queen has been cabled from the headquarters of the British Empire Service League : “I know the King, the first year lie is patron-in-chief of the League, will wish Godspeed to its work, and I hope that 1929 will bring all happiness and prosperity to- its members and superiors.” The message i.s in ropljr to expressions of Wishes lor the King’s speedy and complete recovery, which had been sent to the Empire headquarters from all quarters, including New Zealand.
