The three-day cricket match cotamiemced between Tasmania anti England on Saturday was continued to-day on the Launceston cricket groan-d in line -weather. - , The Englishmen resumed their tost innings, in -which they had lost two wickets for 75 runs, and gave a bright display, a feature of which was Jalr-dm-o’s sparkling .performance m compiling 214 in 24S minutes. Ho tot 2b fours aud gave chances at seven, 100 and 136. Mead compiled his first century of the: tour, reaching 100 in 114 minutes. England declared with eight wa cleats down for 452.
