DEATHS FROM COLD.
SUFFERING IN CHICAGO
THERMOMETER 10 BELOW ZERO
(Australian Press Association—United Service.) CHICAGO, Jan. 13. Three persons were frozen to death to-day when the coldest wave of the season sent the local thermometer to 10 degrees - below zero. Suburban towns reported much lower temperatures, deceasing to 43 degrees, below zero in several towns in Ontario. Much suffering was caused hi the Chicago area by the suddenness of the co'ld and the high winds. Relief is promised for Monday.
