A WAY WITH COLD BEEF.
Put. about- one pound of cold roast beef through the mincer; mix with it three ounces of melted butter, six tablespoonfuls of breadcrumbs, a teaspoonful of minced onion, salt and pepper to taste. Blend these ingredients thoroughly, and add two wellbeaten eggs. Butter a pudding mould, turn in the mixture, and bake in a moderate oven for 20 minutes or half an hour. Turn out of the mould and serve with thick brown gravy and dingers of toast.
