In. ike final for the mixed doubles in the Mamawatu tourney, Laanpe amd Miss Myers (Wanganui) beat Malfroy and Miss M. Preedy (Wellington), 6—3, 4 —(j G —4. Miss Myers and Miss Preedy were off form, but Laanpe played well.
